Car Riders & Bus

Morning Car Line Drop Off
- Students can be dropped off beginning at 7:15 am.
  
  All cars must enter the campus only from the Home Avenue entrance. (The 27th Street entrance is EXIT ONLY)
  
  The drop off area begins near the large sign north of the Kindergarten building, along the sidewalk to the very north end of the school building.
  
  Once your car stops within the drop off area, have students exit the car. Please do not wait until you are up by the front door to drop off students.
  
  Please have students exit from the right side of your vehicle (closest side to the school)
  
  Cars can exit our parking lot in two ways, via Home Avenue or 27th Street, but both Exits are RIGHT TURN ONLY to keep cars moving and allow for a speedy drop off.
  
  All students must be in the building by 7:45 am.

Afternoon Car Line Pick Up
- Enter the parking lot from the Home Avenue entrance only.
  Safety cones will be moved at 2:30pm and parents can then begin lining up for pick up.
  Please have name signs out and in your window.
  Staff will be present in the parking lot to help direct traffic, please respect the safety of the staff and look for their direction, if necessary.
  Please pull cars up as close to each other as possible to allow for more space to accommodate as many cars as possible per row.
  Row #1 VIP & Kindergarten parents must be in line by 2:50pm to use the Kindergarten-only pick up line, after 2:50pm they will need to join one of the other 7 pick up lines.
  The first line (far east side of parking lot, near Northside MS) is for Kindergarten students & siblings only.
  The 7 lines to the west are for any students in grades K-8.
  Student dismissal begins at 2:50pm.
  The Kindergarten pick up line & VIP Line will exit at the 27th Street exit.
  All other cars may exit via Home Avenue or via 27th Street once the Kindergarten Line has dismissed.
  All exits are RIGHT TURN ONLY.

  Would you like your child to ride the bus? Please fill out a Bus Request Form and email to Mrs. Hotek: [email protected]
  Check your child's bus info on the BCSC website: https://www.bcscschools.org/transportation
  BCSC is using a new system called Stopfinder, you will receive an email from BCSC to set up your Stopfinder account and will then be asked to download the Stopfinder app. This app allows you to receive communications about the bus and you can also view your student's bus in real time.
  
  All of our students are eligible to ride the BCSC buses. BCSC provides this service to our students.
  St. Bartholomew students ride the high school buses, not elementary buses.
  Most students will get on a bus at their home then transfer to a second bus at either North or East high school, depending on where you live.
  The transfer bus will then drop them off directly at St. Bartholomew School via the door off Home Avenue.
  For afternoon pick up, the East bus picks up student from the Home Avenue door, North bus students walk with teachers down to North High School and get directly on their buses at North.
  
  If you would like to have your child(ren) ride the bus in the morning and/or afternoon please contact Mrs. Hotek to fill out a BCSC Bus Form.
